We've finally reached 37 weeks which is considered "full term". If our SM goes into labor, our baby's lungs should be mature enough to adjust to the outside world without medical intervention. I can't believe we leave in 5 days to go meet our son or daughter who will hopefully be born soon after we arrive. We had a rough few days with some last minute misunderstandings that had to be worked through, but it all got resolved and rather promptly, I might add.
I just received my official invitation to the first baby shower which is scheduled for October 17th. My mom and sisters are throwing it in my hometown as a debut so we really need to get all of our legal paperwork processed quickly in order to make it home in time. We are getting another shower at a later date (possibly November) in the city where we live now with all my girlfriends.
I already have the "baby bag" packed with all the blankets, onesies, socks, etc that I think we'll need. We plan on packing our own bags this weekend. I guess we need to bring umbrellas and slickers as it's been raining cats and dogs in New Delhi due to the monsoon season. I think we're going to have a lot of luggage...
Suggestions on where to start :)
