I can't believe our baby girl is a week old today. We celebrated by going out to lunch at Punjab Grill and shopping at MotherCare in the CityWalk Mall. Aedan was on her best behavior and slept through the entire outing.
She gets a lot of attention from people when we're out and about which makes me nervous. I worry about germs and her immature immune system. People want to touch her and I feel overly protective... possessive, actually.
There is an outbreak of Dengue Fever in New Delhi because of the monsoons so Aaron has become quite the mosquito killer. We're on high bug alert here. No insect is safe.
We are both homesick. We've traveled a fair amount in the past, but the yearning to be home has never been stronger. We look forward to sleeping in our own bed with Aedan by our side.
Beautiful Pics! Hope you get home soon....so that home sickness bug can go away and you can enjoy Aedan even more!
ReplyDeleteShe is just a beautiful baby!!! Congratulations -your joy is so visible!!! Keep up the good work on the insects!!:-)
ReplyDeleteYEAH! Gorgeous little gal! She looks so big compared to our girls. ENJOY every moment and every smile!
ReplyDeleteOh what gorgeous pictures. You are looking every inch, The Best Mummy.
ReplyDeleteWe contracted Dengue back in May, while in Southern Thailand... So all I can say is.. KILL THE LITTLE SUCKERS!!!!
What gorgous mommy and baby shots. Aeden is a lucky little girl. I know it doesn't feel like it right now, but you'll be back home soon and all of the worries about bugs, fevers, and embassy stress will be, if not forgotten, less important.
ReplyDeleteTj, both you and Aeden just look beautiful in these phots, enjoy these first few weeks, soon they will be the first few lines in an amazing story,
