Nine Months & Father's Day

It's hard to believe our little girl is 9 months old today. The last three months have flown by. Aedan is crawling everywhere and really wanting to walk. She never likes to sit in one place for more than a few minutes.

Her favorite pastime is to hold our hand (or just one finger, even) and walk around the house investigating all the cracks and crevices. Right now she is cruising in circles around the coffee table in the living room, holding on to the sides and the furniture around it.

She is really into her daddy lately, too. She gets really excited when he enters the room and will crawl to him when he is in another room. Sometimes it makes me feel like chopped liver.

She does prefer to be comforted by me when she falls or hurts herself. I guess nothing feels as good as mommy's arms. Even if I have to resort to a pacifier and her snuggly blanket to really calm her down.

She loves books and talks a little bit (mama, dada, light, ball, book, kitty, dog) in her own baby speak. She is learning to swim and starts music lessons this summer.

Everyday I am amazed by my life. Our days are filled with all things baby and I love it. None of it would be possible without my darling husband who works hard so I can stay home and raise Aedan. I want to thank Aaron for being such a wonderful dad and supportive partner. Happy Father's Day!
